NASA is conducting a survey to get input from the public on what they should be doing. You can take the survey here.

Thanks for the link. Alas, I fear they will get many backwards responses because people are used to 10 being the number of greatest significance on a 1-10 scale. I do a bit of survey research in my field, and I'd be happy to make some suggestions about their format... (It's always nice to come across something on this board that I can speak intelligently about).

Agree. I almost submitted my responses before I noticed the numbers were backward. I fixed it, but many people might not have.

Thanks for the link to the results! I was very pleased that there was such a large response, but alas, the survey is basically useless for serious public policy research. Sure, interest groups run surveys like this all the time, but because (for example) the respondents are self-selected these surveys do not get an accurate picture of the opinions of the citizenry. While 54,000 people responded, the number of respondents is far less important than the types of respondents. Survey researchers can get a +/- 3 point result from only about 1,300 respondents, if the demographics of those respondents are chosen carefully. But I suspect I don't need to tell most of you about all that...

I am a misfit in this survey. Neither my age nor my gender is adequately represented. I almost forgot about my educational information and went back to include that and submitted it all once again. However, they did not seem to have recorded the numbered rankings for amount of education.

well i dont get to give them my answer$
So heres my instructions on how to name a page or LINE
first send up the form { Forn B4 Sub_Stance )
it looks sort of like [a name="FORM"] except
use less than & greater than rather than []
next replace the FORM with the date stamp
20020206 add the decimal . and the Time stamp 4:07 A.M. and its done it also helps to add the page again over on the right without []
