Default Mars Global Surveyor Trajectory

Is the "Type 2" trajectory referenced here the same as a Hohmann transfer orbit?

Every planetary transfer orbit that takes more than 180 degrees around the sun is called a type 2 trajectory. If it takes less than 180 degrees it is called a type 1. Type 1 is faster and requires more energy. A Hohmann transfer would be exactly 180 degrees, but it is a pure theoretical concept.
