I'm not sure what your issue is. These days I don't have anyone working for me, and I don't get any more out of the responses to a thread I start than anyone else reading the thread does. All I do is spot a news item of interest that I think Universe Today is likely to miss and let people know about it. What's the problem there?

Actually; it's something I have also wondered. But I see absolutely no issue with.

With your history and reputation for finding related discusions, I feel very comfortable in the fact that you will be presenting something new in this kind of link.
Besides, your avatar explains that you may not have a strong opinion of how it may be biased, or strikes an emotion with you.

But; I think the lack of comfort is that it looks like somebody elses "look what I found, read it and tell me what it means". I've seen lot's of people here do that, and I think that's why I sometimes do a double take until it clicks on who the poster is.
