Default NASA/Disney initiative for children

http://www.spacedaily.com/reports/NASA_to_..._space_999.html

Buzz Lightyear is finally going into space...

It's a good idea.

Yep, hopefully will generate interest in kids for space.

Yes it is, but I went to Nasa's site and was very disappointed. A lot of it is stuff that could have been done independent of a mission.

It mostly is a series of games that are shuttle/ISS themed, but really don't teach various things about the missions themselves.

And the transmissions from buzz don't really say much.

There's some good information there, but it's all in the text.

I'm not saying it's a bad thing, just that I think it could have been done much better.

I've checked this out, it looks really good. For a funny story about it, check the main STS-124 thread.
