Default Hubble Legacy Symposium

BAUTistas near DC may be interested - the Hubble Legacy Symposium will be held on Nov. 18 at the Mall building of the National Air and Space Museum. There will be presentations on the construction, optical recovery, servicing, and science legacy of the telescope. Speakers include Ed Weiler, Bob O'Dell, HST historian Robert Smith, WFPC2 PI John Trauger, and ace telescope repairman John Grunsfeld. The date marks the temporary display of WFPC2 and the permanent display of COSTAR in the museum collections.

Oh how I wish I could make it to DC for this symposium, Bill. It sounds like it's going to be a real blast! Thanks for the link.

Eric

Grunsfeld gives a good talk, so I'd recommend going to at least see him.

I'm looking forward to the end-all be-all coffee-table book that will certainly be released after Hubble takes its very last image.
