SUMMARY: Gregory Cranwell took this picture of Great Orion Nebula on November 24, 2005 from Tucson, Arizona. Gregory used a LXD 75 Schmidt Newtonian 8" with a Canon Rebel XT 8.0 megapixel digital SLR.

Very nice! What was the exposure time and number of images stacked for that one?
I'm still waiting for another chance at the nebula, but my backyard observatory is covered with the "Great Seattle Nebula". Here is my best shot so far of M42, I use a Canon 10D and Orion 80ED for this shot - http://www.universetoday.com/am/publ....html?21122005 Tom |
