Consider the following: we've got tides here on Earth, the Moon only shows one face to the Earth, we've got volcanoes on Io, and ice geysers on Enceladus. ...

BAD BAD ASTRONOMY!

![]() Thats a newbie for me, I was unaware that the force of gravity was able to ionize particles and then accelerate them away from the moons, wow gravity really is amazing! ![]() Quote:

![]() ![]() ![]() Bad bad astronomy! Well done Frasor! Gravity the lowliest force in the universe can indeed, because "we understand the physics behind them" create such wonderful phenomena as charged particles moving along filed aliened currents and can connect planets to their moons via flux tubes, even when the tidal flexing relies on elliptical orbits of which some of these active moons do NOT have. And the article goes on about Phobos being 1400km inside the roche limit and still going strong, I thought GRAVITY was suposed to rip apart any "moon" inside this limit? or do you think they may be wrong? It's full of holes big enough to fir Phobos thru! ![]() |

Gravity the lowliest force in the universe
Gravirty is the weakest force not the lowliest force. Thats a newbie for me, I was unaware that the force of gravity was able to ionize particles and then accelerate them away from the moons, wow gravity really is amazing! who said anything about ionizing particles.

And on it goes, so why no mention of this phenomena in the above pod cast? Strange! |

Just because "Astronomers" aren't sure why? because they do not understand the phenomena? Davidplf, please explain your above ad hom flame attempt? ![]() |

You were trying to promote the EU theory like you do in Q&A section of the board, and "Astronomers" apperantly have good idea what is causing it.

So why would the pod cast leave out plasma? Do they not think it's important? because unless they mention plasma, "Astronomers" apparently have good idea what is causing it, is totally misleading. They are still stabbing in the dark ![]() I made no mention of the Electric universe, nor will I, less I be banned again. but... plasmas, charged particles, magnetosphere, plasmaspheres, field aligned currents, flux tubes, "solar wind" are all in the "mainstream" explanation! ![]() |
