Fraser. There's another way to collect particles, too. The background count of cosmic rays, which varies by latitude and altitude, too, is about a dozen hits per minute. As they splash through your cytoplasm, tiny quantities of subatomic particles flash in the dark....Ahh!, holes in the head we like....reminds me of sombody famous taking up the airways these days. ...pete
