Your English is excused, Extremist. (I could think of tens of UTers with far worse English skillz). h34r:

No need to hope anymore - you've found us! B)

FYI, a lot of UTers are beginners as well!

Anyways, to sum it all up...welcome!

Hi Folks,
I'm new to the site, stumbled across it yesterday. Haven't had much of a chance to check it all out, but everything looks cool to me. I'm sure that I'll enjoy spending some time here.
I'm Ron, and I live in the Foothills of North Carolina. I'm 49 yrs. old and have only been observing for a year. I wish I had started a long time ago. But, better late than never, right?

Talk to y'all soon,
Ron

Lainie, you could PM anyone in Community Support, if you have not yet already done so.

And Ron, welcome! C'mon, explore UT a bit more - we guarantee you'll come back at least once a day once you get used to the site. You won't find a better newsletter anywhere (that's guaranteed) and you certainly will not find any bigger family/community of devoted space exploration enthusiasts anywhere else on the net! B)

Thanks for the welcome, StarLab. I'm looking foreward to posting here and "meeteing" you folks. I'm headin' outside now, scopes been out for about an hour. Hopefully catch Mars in a little while, so long as the clouds cooperate. Haven't been out in about three weeks. Lookin' foreward to that too. Might post an observing report if I have a good session.

Later Folks

Hi, people!

This might be the website I've spent years looking for?

I'm (now) 55 years old and was born with a natural scientific instinct.

(Jokingly), I refer to myself as "a self-taught Einsteinian genius".....lol

But seriously.....I think I'm the only organism (since life emerged from the Premordial Ooze) to have entered a "Post-Einstein Universe".

This "universe" is (surprizingly) so simple that I think Human minds have a natural tendency to (my word) "intellectually overshoot" simple and comprehensive explanations.

I'd like to take some "travellers" there.

Would the webmaster concur?

Hey Coney, wanna get a scoop for the UT newsletter? :P

Welcome!

FYI, we've got an Alternative Theories section just for you - OK, not really exclusively just for you - where you can warp other members' minds into your special "universe."

There's nothing so rewarding as learning & discovering things - both new & old! :P
