This topic is far too important to ignore. Therefore,
a new category is needed on this forum to deal with
global warming which, with business as usual, will
eliminate life on Earth.

There is nothing in the text that infringes on copywrite.
A large part of the summaries on temperatures and
dewpoints was done by this author, on personal time.
The only advertisement is to save Panet Earth and to
reduce CO2 emission.

Rapid global warming is being driven by CO2 emissions.

Hydrologist concludes: humans must reduce fossil fuel
emissions for the web of life to survive on Earth.

Based on personal research and study, there is no doubt:
- Fossil fuel emissions are causing rapid global warming
- Rapid global warming causes great harm to web of life
- Rapid global warming is happening and worsening

Hydrologist concludes: humans must reduce fossil fuel
emissions for the web of life to survive on Earth.

Pat, you already started another discussion on this subject, and then another one, which was closed - not to mention, it violated 4 of the forum's rules. This is a space and astronomy discussion forum, so I'm not going to start another subject on global warming.

I understand and appreciate the threat of human impact on the global climate, and I think it's an enormous problem. It's just not the primary subject matter of Universe Today.

You've already got a previous thread going here:

http://www.universetoday.com/forum/index.p...?showtopic=1952

So please don't start new threads about it. You've already been warned once, do it again and I'll have to suspend your account.
