When I first set up this forum back in the end of July, I never imagined we'd have 20,000 comments from people. It's amazing and inspiring to see everyone getting involved. I just wish I'd set this up 5 years ago. :-)

It´s good to see there are now nearly 20,000 users on this forum. I read it quite a number of times till I dared to post anything myself. I was encouraged by the great number of people who posted to this forum & I found many points of interest & thought that maybe I could have a go after all. In just a couple of months I´ve made nearly 100 postings!!! I needn´t have felt so intimidated for so long! I also wished I had started earlier!

I should have said 20,000 "posts" not "users"!

There is now huge curiosity in space, Russians are planning to go to Mars by 2019,
the western nations have new ideas also.. German, French and English have designed great comet chasing probes to look inside these objects, China is also thinking about the directions to go, and NASA has some great rovers taking woderful images and they plan to ruturn to the moon and construct a bio dome so that man can live or terraform space..its great! Plus we might have the discovery of our 10th Planet Sedna. There is growing professional interest in astro-biology, planetry geology and astro physics is going to grow also, plus regular people will also enjoy the great images from NASA, Russian-space or the ESA |

Hi FAULKNER!
Nah! B****y computer went down, so I went pecking around trying to fix it. Missed you guys (and your sense of Aussie humour!). Gosh - new folks are coming on every day - great for Fraser. (Congrats!) Haven't seen STARRMAN for yonks - where is he? Nice to catch up on Dips and find out he is uncharacteristically humble on occasions. Alice is as talkative as ever. Great to be back . |
