When I log on the date shown for my last visit is 3 months ago and when I ask for new messages it show 49 pages of them!

I just logged on about a couple days ago! heh heh

When I log in a box pops up and asks whether I want to WAIT for transfer or do I want to access the board immeiately?

What is your guess?

If I wait for the automatic transfer it will be a verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry looooooooooong wait cause I tried it! heh heh

I like it when the board responds the way it should.

The thing is, we can't do anything about the actual programming of the board because it's a freeware program written by Invision. So if there's bugs or problems, these need to be reported to Invision as Fraser didn't program it himself.

The "pop ups" - as you describe them - are just there to let you know that the task you wanted to do (logging in, replying to a topic etc) has been done and that it's going to take you to the relevant page. You might think it's redundant and not necessary, but otherwise you might be sitting there hitting the SUBMIT button and not knowing what's happening.

If it seems slow to transfer you (which could be due to any number of factors outside the board's control) you can click on the link to take you directly there, rather than waiting. That's what it's there for.
