Hi,

I tried changing my avatar. It says: The following file types are allowed: gif .jpeg .jpg .swf .png

Yet, when I tried uploading a .swf file, the system denied it for being an illegal filetype. I uploaded it to my own webspace and then linked from it. This was accepted, but I do not see my avatar. I also tried this with a .png file, but the same thing happened. I suggest you change the text or really accept these filetypes -- I now use a normal .jpg

By the way, it took me some time finding the rules. Hadn't expected them to be in feedback.

Hi Wouter,

The reason Fraser has not allowed .swf files is because he doesn't want people to potentially have to upgrade their browsers when visiting the forum (which is obviously somewhat inconvenient).
