Hi Gang,Does anyone out there know how to register votes for the website of the year? I, for one, would be more than happy to vote for Fraser's Universe Today site. Has any one got the info? and does anyone agree? jsc248. |

Out of the five or so sites I regularly go to, this is the top of my list; great news, great members, great site, great everything. |

When I was researching formats for my own website, I decided to look up the award winners, and found that it is something taken quite seriously. See for youself:
http://www.webbyawards.com/ Fraser, if you seriously want to try this out, I know there are alot of us who would support you. Deadline for submission for this year's awards is in one week! http://www.webbyawards.com/entries/new.php Good luck in whatever you decide.

Yeah - I guess that means I'll 10th it! I visit the website every day - as often as I can. In my opinion, it's the best space source where you can disucss, read and debate on the web!

Add me in for sure. I get three different newsletters dealing with space news. One I generally delete without even reading unless it has something really interesting, or something U.T. doesn't which is very rare.
The 2nd I read if I feel like, but I don't get involved any further then that. And this one? Well I think nearly 850 postings and being a moderator speaks for itself. But to validate I'll say this. I just got a new (to me) computer operational after being down and off the internet for a month. Right after securing my O.S. options, I got the internet operational, and the very next thing I did was to get back U.T. and add it to my favorittes. Since I forgot my password, I had to sign on as a new member until Fraser got me revalidated which resulted in me getting at least three welcome P.M.s from Rigel. (BTW Rigel good job in welcoming new members. Keep up the good work.) Just tonight I signed up one of my co-workers to start receivng the newsletter. this is by far my favoritte web site to visit, even if I don't post as much or as often as I used to, (which sometimes exceeded 25 postings per visit) I'm still here and will also support Universe Today as Website of the Year. Even if we don't win, we can make an impact and get an honorable mention. LET'S DO IT!! |

Thanks for your support folks. It's just nice to know you appreciate the site; whether or not it wins any awards.

Has the website been entered? If so, how do we vote?

Not sure what happened last year, but surely everyone has to get behind UT for the 2005 awards, it must be getting to the voting season again......???
