fraser might want to consider this:

has any one posted a topic and wanted to get a forum member or moderaters attention there and then.

To let let them know that amybe you've just posted a topic of possible intrest to them.

if so, i propose a kind of a pop up message that can be sent with fixed templates i.e. "just posted good topic check it out < ChromeStar >" the idea is it would pop up some where not to out of the way, to point someone towards your topic.

Chromestar, that's what the PM system is for. If you have not yet used it, I suggest you get started.

Do you know how to use the system, chromestar?

You see the icon below a members post that reads "PM"? Basically, all you have to do is give it a double click. You'll then be transported to your Control panel where the systme will have automatically opened up a new PM message where you can type your question, query or just a short (or detailed) note. The member's name will have already been automatically placed under the "member's name" section - all you have to do is give your message a title and click the send button.

You can choose to track the message so that you know if the member's received your message or not - just click the first box before sending your message.

You'll be alerted when you receive a new message and just have to clickthe icon at the topc of the screen that may say "1 new messages" or more once you've received a memorandum from another member.

The system may still be unclear to you, but if you need any further help I'm sure we can help you!
