Hi all,
I apologize if this topic has already been addressed. I don't have much time to keep up with this forum. Since I raised this question here a long time ago, I thought that it deserved a response now that I've begun to see "Illustration" being used. I know that it is not very important what term we use under each picture, since everything which reaches me by computer, including text, is just an image and, like everything on the internet, not to be trusted at face value. It is usually easy to spot an illustration, enhanced/altered photo, etc. but not always. Sometimes I just wonder how a picture was obtained. I am happy though, to see clearer descriptions used when possible. Thanks for your time. |

Hi Fritz, I've started putting "Illustration credit:" beside images which aren't photos to try and help clarify things.
